The project that we carried out in collaboration with the SACUDE company, consisted of creating a videomapping for vertical dance, a show where choreographies are performed in the air. SACUDE dancers defy the laws of gravity through rhythmic and acrobatic movements executed in a dance performance that runs along the wall on which the mapping is projected. To support this air show, we use 3D projections accompanying the choreography with the aim of generating the interaction between body, space, video and music.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our proposal was to create a vertical dance videomapping<\/strong> performance fully coordinated with the dancers’ movements and the rhythm of the music, generating a unique visual and sensory experience. This innovative approach allows aerial dance to merge with 3D projections, which not only accompany the movements but amplify them, creating an immersive atmosphere. The projections interact with the choreography, immersing the audience in a performance that goes beyond the visual.<\/p>

We used advanced video mapping technology to project images onto the wall, allowing each gesture of the dancers to be perfectly synchronised with the projections. The synchronisation between physical movements and projected images creates a flawless interaction between dance and audiovisual elements, taking the audience to a completely new level of experience. Every movement is precisely located in space and time, enabling total integration between the dance and the visual environment.<\/p>

This performance, directed and produced by the SACUDE company, is a clear example of how aerial dance can merge with the most innovative technologies to create something truly stunning. The projected video mapping not only complements but also enriches the choreography, generating a sense of depth and dynamism that keeps the audience captivated throughout the performance.<\/p>

The interaction between the dancers and the projections transforms the stage into a unique space where the art of dance and technology come together seamlessly. To achieve a spectacular effect between aerial videomapping with vertical dance, we follow the following points:<\/p>\n

>> Development of the idea: In the direction of the vertical dance company SACUDE, the Mapping World Lab team developed the storyline that the 3D projection will follow.<\/p>\n

>> Technique: Using motion graphics, VFX and 3D animations. We managed to capture the essence of the dance show, giving the choreography movement, depth and color that elevate their movements to another level. All this, adjusting perfectly to the tempo and timing of the show.<\/p>\n

>> Logistics coordination: This phase was very important, since the vertical dance numbers of the company require a fairly complex logistical setup. To carry out this assembly, we used a route map that would allow us to locate each of the movements in space and time, and in this way, generate a perfect synchronization.<\/p>\n
